Overall, I am proud of the event, my team was able to get 10 young people excited about a global lifestyle and a few steps closer to a passport - passport photos, application assistance, and a grant that pays for their first passport.
The event was supported by influencers from across the creative culture landscape. Below is a topline of the messages the event’s guest speakers shared.
Sam & Chad of We Are Not Pilgrims shared their story of meeting as nightlife doormen in NYC to creating work with Jeff Staple in Tokyo.
Kat Popiel of On Plate, Still Hungry spoke about growing up around the world and being afforded the opportunity to work with global partners due to her cultural aptitude.
Josh Kissi of Street Etiquette brought a very rare and raw perspective on international travel, highlighting a great appreciation for the beauty of the women he has encountered outside of the United States.
Travel well,
